Make Room for Words

A bookstore. A coffee shop. A neighborhood gathering space. Sometimes all a good poem needs is somewhere to be heard.

something happen.
Star City Poet's Society is developing a regional series of welcoming, community-centered open mics. We're especially interested in spaces that value connection, creativity, and bringing new people through the door.
Our usual program is a 90-minute Sunday afternoon gathering. We welcome listeners as well as performers, and keep the format approachable for people reading for the first time.
Venue inquiries: We're preparing a direct contact form for the site. This v0.1 preview does not yet submit inquiries, but the page is ready for that next step.
